Student Support and Well-being

Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School is committed to ensuring that every pupil and student matters and that every pupil and student is safe, happy and is making progress. Positive behaviour is key to this and at Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School this is based on everyone having a shared understanding of the values and relationships that are needed for pupils and students to learn well and get on with their peers and staff.

Good pastoral care is important to developing pupils and students who demonstrate initiative and leadership, who are able to make good decisions and take responsibility for their choices and actions. The pastoral team provides day to day and longer term support for any pupil or student who is experiencing any kind of difficulty in and beyond school, and can access additional support and help from other services, as well as working closely with the school’s Additional Learning Needs Department. Our pastoral support system is designed to ensure that all barriers to a pupil or student’s continued well-being and progress are removed.

Here at Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School we have developed our own dedicated well-being zone to help guide and support our pupils and students.
