NEWS: The School Debate team performed admirably on Tuesday 25th February 2020 in the RSPCA Great Debate, competing against schools from across the county.

RSPCA Great Debate

The School Debate team performed admirably in the RSPCA Great Debate, competing against schools from across the county. Whilst we did not win on this occasion, we were pleased with the excellent performance and received high merit from the judges. The team, which consisted of our main debaters, Carys Thompson, Gabby Lloyd, Poppy Cumine and Nye Lee; our media officers Dylan Lewis and Gethin Lewis and our supporting coaches Daisy Smith and Seren Cowen, were a huge credit to the school.

There are many opportunities for you to visit new places and compete in exciting competitions in Wales! It is also an opportunity to improve your English skills outside of the classroom, by researching and writing about topics you care about!

The Friends of the School will be renewing the 100 Club monthly draw from Apr 24. Each number costs £12 per year and the monthly prize is a minimum of £20. This is but one of a number of fund raising activities which allows the Friends to support a range of events and activities across all year groups.  Read More…

The trenching work will commence on 11 Mar 24 by Welsh Water on behalf of the new Welsh primary school being built by Morgan Sindell. The responsibility to provide access, both vehicle and pedestrian, falls to Welsh Water and whilst there may be some disruption it should be minimal.
